Baby is becoming a thinker! They solve simple problems, understand cause and effect, and are nearly walking.

Physical milestones

• Stands holding on, may stand briefly alone
• Climbs on low furniture
• Uses pincer grasp precisely
• Sits and pivots to reach toys

Emotional and cognitive milestones

• Looks when you point at something
• May have a comfort object (blanket, stuffed toy)
• Understands simple commands
• Plays 'give and take' games
