Month 8: Little Communicator

Baby is understanding more words, pointing at things, and becoming a true communicator!

Physical milestones

• Crawls well and quickly
• Pulls to stand and may cruise along furniture
• Develops pincer grasp (thumb + index finger)
• Points at things they want

Emotional and cognitive milestones

• Separation anxiety is strong
• Shows fear of unfamiliar situations
• Understands several common words
• Enjoys games with rules (clapping, patting)
